foodie’s paradise—lots of fresh food and local is what it’s all about there. Vermont’s food history goes back to
the state’s earliest days and Elise and Gail trace it’s path thru the area’s various ethnic communities during this
3 hour tour full of tastings.
You’ll learn about the food traditions of Abenaki, Afro Americans, Chinese, French Canadians, Germans, Greeks,
Irish, Italians, Jewish, Lebanese, and Yankees. There are stops at 5 restaurants featuring Italian snacks, fish
from Lake Champlain and an ice cream sandwich made from goat’s milk.
