Last year, while in Bangkok, we went on Taste of Thailand’s Village of Love food tour learning all about the city’s great local food. Upon returning to Bangkok this year we learned that the company had started a Chinatown food tour, we jumped at the chance to learn more about the cities rich Chinese heritage and food. We were not disappointed. The tour began appropriately late in the afternoon when Chinatown becomes alive with people, restaurants and street food. For the next 3.5 hours we filled ourselves with more than 15 different foods and drinks from this fascinating subculture. Our guide,Thee, is a trained chef and very knowledgable about the foods of Chinatown. I hope by this time next year Taste of Thailand introduces yet another food tour to explore the different food cultures in this exciting city.
